Stable shoulder blocks suppress the buckling and extend the border area, especially on fast driven curves. Large gaps also increase traction and enhance the self-cleaning properties of the tire.

In the 29 "variant, the arrangement of the tread blocks is adapted to the larger footprint, which brings out the performance advantages of the large wheels even better.
