TAYA’s new “5” series chain for 11, 10 and 9 speed chains leads chain durability to a new era. TAYA developed a new material that enhances the reliability and strength to create a chain lasting twice as long - for 5.000 km – 6.000 km. The outer and inner plates are made by alloy steel and - as the pin – are treated by Diamond Hard Technology (DHT), a special TAYA patent. The hardness test shows a 25 % better result in comparison to competitors. To provide higher strength, a perfect shifting performance, less friction and less elongation TAYA is using not only DHT but also redesigned the plates.
