The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent. Its tread is medium high, the center lugs are narrow but leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are beveled for lower rolling resistance. The side lugs are angled, offset and bite into the ground when cornering. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-round use and on the trails.

3C MaxxSpeed

Maxxis fastest 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed by the hard substructure and the fast compound in the middle of the tread on lowest rolling resistance, but offers with the grippy compound on the sides to it still superior grip in corners, even in wet conditions. Typical MAXXIS is also the very long life.

Tubeless Ready (TR)

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting on all rims with standard dimensions already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires unchanged convincingly good.
