Dyna-SYS11

The real benefit of the 11-speed drive is that the entire translation bandwidth is available without giving up your usual rhythm. Dyna-Sys11 provides an optimal rhythm both in the level and in the ascent with "Rhythm Step" gears in the most used range. Drive efficiency is a key performance indicator for the powertrain. Dyna-Sys11 means more speed with the same effort.

 

Rapidfire Plus

Since 1985, Rapidfire Plus is used by mountain bikers. Rapidfire Plus is still the first choice for a wide range of riders, from cross-country riders to freeriders and downhillers. Rapidfire Plus is suitable for fast switching. The driver can shift back by up to three gear steps with one shift stroke. All new Rapidfire Plus shifters, from XTR to Deore LX, are equipped with 2-way release. This means that shift cable is released by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.

 

Instant release

The instant release switch replaces the two-step click and release process. With Instant Release, the train is released immediately when the lever is actuated, thus achieving the fastest possible gear change. Regardless of whether a gear change up with a top-normal rear derailleur or a gear change down with a low-normal rear derailleur - a faster shift is always a better shift.

 

Multi Release

In previous shift systems, the gear change in each direction was faster than the other. The choice of top-normal or low-normal always meant that one had to sacrifice speed in one direction in favor of the other direction. With Multi Release, two switching stages can now be changed with a lever operation. Result: The fastest possible gear change in both directions, regardless of the type of derailleur used.

 

2-way release

The trigger lever of a Rapidfire Plus gear lever is pulled in the direction of the handle like the trigger of a pistol. The release lever of the new Rapidfire Plus shifters from Alivio to XTR can be operated in the same way. With him, however, can also be optionally switched by thumb pressure.

 

I-Spec II

The XTR M9000 levers are compatible with the I-Spec II system, which allows the shift and brake levers to be mounted to the handlebars with just one clamp, allowing more freedom in cockpit design, saving weight, and improving ergonomics through a variety of adjustment options. I-Spec II shift handles are not compatible with I-Spec and I-Spec B brake handles.
