This is the Hope Stealth Race X2 EVO Front Brake Set. The Race EVO X2 takes the performance of the Award Winning Mini and sheds a few more precision grams without compromising power and modulation. For 2012 the lever pivot has been slightly shortened which translates to a 15% increase in power. Super lightweight design - CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminum alloy, giving smooth, progressive feel and power. The split clamp allows for quick adjustment and the lightweight machined alloy lever features a textured grip area. Lever reach is adjustable via Allen key and the master cylinder reservoir is integrated to allow easy bleeding. A mix of 10 titanium and 2 aluminum bolts are used on the Race X2, helping to keep the weight below the 275g mark.

This neat, slimline caliper optimizes the very latest COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to reduce unnecessary weight, improve aesthetics and create a high-performance partnership with the superlight Race Evo Lever. The caliper is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminum alloy and an increased piston diameter, generating the more usable braking force on the rotor. A drip-free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing. The Race X2 pads are backed with an alloy plate for lighter weight.
