The MET Sine Thesis Ice Lite Helmet is the first bicycle helmet with luminescent material injected into the Icelite Exoskeleton providing additional visibility for night riding. Visibility is also increased by reflective detailing on the straps, strap divider, size adjuster and side/rear stickers in addition to a new USB rechargeable LED which clips onto the back of the retention system. The Icelite Exoskeleton is designed to provide the maximum airflow through the helmet. The air flow is also increased by the fact that only 20% of the helmet is in contact with the head.

 

Shell construction

The Icelite construction absorbs light during the day to emit light for 1-2 hours when it is dark/ In-mold intelligent fusion provides the optimal ratio of impact resistance and weight. The polycarbonate shell wraps the bottom of the helmet towards the inside of shell offering better protection

Fit system

Safe-T Advanced - MET's top of the range retention system provides the best weight and comfort ratio. 25% lighter than the Safe-T Smart, the Safe-T Advanced is welded which helps to reduce the weight. The contact points have increased comfort with a larger cradle surface area which is also designed to aid ventilation at the back of the head. The micro adjust dial offers very precise movements with 2mm per click for horizontal adjustment. The vertical adjustment offers 4 steps for the perfect fit. As standard on all the MET's helmets, the retention features a full 360 degrees retention ring which fits around the head bringing unparalleled comfort with a very secure fit

Ventilation

Icelite Exoskeleton provides maximum airflow by allowing some of the largest vents found on a bicycle helmet

Padding

Full Gel 02 padding is hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial and made from biomedical gel which helps to keep the head cooler, is more durable and won't smell of sweat

Straps

Breathability and comfort are extremely important, the Airlite straps and dividers are 15% lighter than a standard helmet strap, they are also more aerodynamic than a standard strap/divider combination. To provide additional visibility the straps on the Sine Thesis also come with reflective detailing

Nightlights reflectivity offers additional reflectivity on the straps, dividers and dial on the retention system and there are additional reflective stickers on the side and rear of the helmet. Safe-T Advanced LED/USB LED Light included which fits snugly onto the dial of the retention system. Featuring 6 LEDs in flashing or constant modes. Night safe mode and water resistant. Tool free fitting. Neoprene Bag - A MET helmet bag is also provided with the Sine Thesis for safe transportation
