IRWIN HUB TECHNOLOGY
6/60 DESIGN
The revolutionary 6/60 hub technology houses an engagement system of 6 pawls and 60 ratchets staggered into 2 groups of 3 pawls.
At any single time, 3 pawls are always engaged while the 3 other pawls are preloaded.
This allows the hub to have a responsive 3-degree engagement, translating into faster and more efficient power transfer.
The CrMo pawls are made through a fine extrusion process, so every piece is equal in size and a perfect match to the ratchet ring.
3 claws on each pawl maximize contact points while spreading the driving force over a larger surface area, thereby prolonging the cassette body's life span.
In our overall product design, we insist on using only the highest quality bearings that reduce friction while ensuring longer wheel life.
We use only the highest performing product to date:
Ceramic hybrid bearings (Bearings: ABEC3, Si3N4 Ball: Grade 5) and Enduro bearings to provide fast and smooth riding.
INTERCHANGEABLE CASSETTE BODY
Our road hubs feature a fast and convenient way of changing the cassette body without using separate adapters or complex tools.
Interchangeable cassette body compatible with:
» Campagnolo 10/11-speed
» Shimano 11-speed with a spacer to convert to 10-speed.
ROAD DISC BRAKE HUB SYSTEM
FRONT 2-IN-1
The 2-in-1 road disc brake front hub system with replaceable end caps allows a single hub to be compatible with multiple fork dropouts without using tools.
The hub comes with standard quick release caps but can be converted to a 15mm thru-axle.
REAR 3-IN-1
The 3-in-1 road disc brake rear hub system with replaceable end caps allows a single hub to be compatible with multiple frame dropouts.
The hub comes with standard quick release caps but can be converted to 12×135mm and 12×142mm thru-axle.
MTB HUB SYSTEM
The 3-in-1 MTB hub system uses replaceable end caps to allow a single hub to be used with multiple frame and fork drop out designs.
The hubs come with standard quick release caps but can be converted to 9mm or 15mm thru-axle in the front,
and 12x135mm and 12x142mm thru-axle in the rear.
